Deleting somebody in Entris removes them from the register, the kiosks and the directory straight away. The record itself is kept for 30 days so an accidental deletion can be undone, and is then erased permanently and automatically.
What erasure removes
Everything that identifies the person — name, email address, phone number, photograph, vehicle registration, DBS expiry date. Their visits and absences remain, with no name attached.
That is deliberate. Your safeguarding record of who was in the building on a given day should not silently change months later because somebody was removed from the directory. Where a deleted person has no visits or absences at all, the record goes entirely.
Answering a subject access request
If somebody asks what you hold about them, find them on the People page and choose Export their data. That produces a single file containing their record and every visit, absence and expected visit attached to it, in a machine-readable format.
