Reports & exports
Reports cover a date range and come in two kinds: absences, and sign-in activity. Choose a range, generate, and preview it on screen before deciding whether to download it.
Viewing versus taking out
Generating a report and downloading it are separate permissions, deliberately. Once a file leaves Entris it is outside our retention rules and access controls, so some roles can read a report on screen without being able to take a copy away.
Every export is recorded
Exports are written to the activity log with who ran them, the range, and how many records were included. That is deliberate: it is a record of personal data leaving the building.
Very large ranges
Reports are capped so a wide range cannot pull an unbounded amount of data into your browser. If a report is capped, Entris tells you — narrow the range and run it again rather than assuming you have everything.
