Integrations
Entris can email a host when their visitor arrives or leaves, and email a distribution address when a pupil is marked absent. Each is switched on separately.
An email did not arrive
Check the delivery log on the Notifications page before assuming it was not sent. It records every message, whether it was accepted, and the reason if it was not — which is usually a typo in the address or a full mailbox.
If the log shows the message was delivered, the problem is at the recipient's end. A spam folder is the usual answer.
Webhooks
A webhook posts visitor events to a system you run, as they happen. Only enable it for an address you control — you are sending visitor names and arrival times outside Entris. Internal and private network addresses are rejected.
