Visitors
A visitor signs themselves in at the kiosk. They enter their name, pick a reason for the visit and — if you have asked for them — a host, a phone number, a vehicle registration and a photograph.
Entris then creates two things: a visitor record (the person, reused next time they come) and a visit (this particular trip). That is why a returning visitor can sign in with one tap — Entris already knows who they are.
Signing out
Visitors sign themselves out at the kiosk. If somebody forgets, you can sign them out from the People page — individually, or everybody still on site at once when you lock up.
Photographs
Photograph capture is optional and off unless you switch it on. If you do use it, tell visitors it happens — you are the data controller for what your kiosks collect. Entris performs no facial recognition; the photograph is only there to identify the person holding the badge.
